RoHS/REACH

Introduction:
The European Union’s RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) directive 2002/95/EC states that “Member states shall insure that, from July 1st, 2006, new electrical and electronic equipment put on the market does not contain lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) or polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE).”

Current Status:
Allied Components International offers our entire standard catalog product as “RoHS Compliant” under the RoHS directive as set forth by the European Union in February of 2003.

Production Identification:
A suffix of  “-RC” on any Allied Components part number identifies that product as RoHS compliant. For part specific details please contact Allied Components International.
